Craving for Kuchinta

When I am tired of eating bread as my breakfast, I wait for the kakainin vendor to roam around the village carrying his puto and kuchinta. The kuchinta that Kuya sells is the first that I tasted that was topped with Dulce de Leche. Then as we visited my mom in the south, I noticed that it was the new trend as their Manong does the same thing.

When we buy kuchinta, we skip the niyog and just ask for more Dulce de Leche, which we happily get. However, it has been months since I have not seen the kuchinta vendor. I asked the taho vendor if he happens to see the guy. According to him, kuchinta man is currently working (office job probably) and he stopped selling delicious kuchinta with Deulce de Leche.

When will I ever be able to eat kuchinta again?
