My teammate, Resty, spent his Holy Week in Beijing China. It has been a custom in our team to bring something for everyone every time we go elsewhere.
In his email, he said he was supposed to bring exotic street foods, just like our isaw and betamax, but way more exotic than ours.
What you see on sticks are cockroaches, scorpion, centipede, sea horse, etc. He planned on bringing those but are not allowable inside the airport.
So instead, he brought us the usual goodies. Among those, I liked this preserved peach the most. It is not too sweet nor too hard to chew. The size is also perfect as an afternoon merienda.
I can’t seem to eat those. I don’t even eat balut.
Looks something cute and i bet it’s delicious too. Hope you can visit me back and look at the journey of a dreamer.
Awww, I didn’t know that those exotic goodies are not allowed inside the airport. I would love to try some (but not the cockroaches…. >_<) if I get the chance.
